So, I saw some truly great news yesterday regarding the beloved Thornwood Valley Series by the talented author Sarah Madeline. It was announced via Instagram yesterday, that fans of the series can look forward to three additional books being released and I am ecstatic. The next book in the series will follow characters Olive and Mason and will be titled, A Merry Pair, which will be releasing November first of this year. The cozy, festive atmosphere that will surely accompany this newest release will make it an ideal candidate for those looking to immerse themselves in a heartwarming story during the most wonderful time of the year. The Review

“A Fowl Match” focuses on the small town of Thornwood Valley, where unconventional and occasionally clumsy Violet is teamed up with new to town and grumpy Dustin for the town’s annual spring small business games. While being paired together these two will have to decide to stay rivals or work together and turn over a new leaf. This was a short and sweet rivals-to friends-to lovers tale. The characters, main and side, were delightful and charming really encompassing and actual small town feel. Along with lovely characters, there was also the “gossip mill” which is yet another small town characteristic. I thought this story was entertaining, funny, and sweet as pie rounding together a realistic and believable story that was really enjoyable!
