The Review
“Deadstream”, a YA horror thriller centers on Teresa, an agoraphobic small-time streamer/ gamer who witnesses something out of the ordinary when a big name streamer suddenly starts acting very strangely during a livestream. When other streamers start acting strangely as well, Teresa, is determined to figure out why. I enjoyed the paranormal and horror bits of this book and I thought they were just spooky enough for young adults. Along with a creepy plot line, there was also valuable lessons implanted into the ending that I found to be very relevant to today’s technologically obsessed world. This was a fun read and I enjoyed it very much, would recommend to readers who enjoy YA horror, paranormal, and thriller books.
